Cysteine is one of 20 amino acids that are the building blocks of proteins used throughout the body. Protein forms the structure of all of the body's cells and tissues, including muscle tissue, internal organs, tendons, hair, skin and nails. Acetyl L-Cysteine provides stability, increased bio availability as an altered form of the amino acid L-Cysteine and can therefore be used by the body more efficiently.  It is the master producer (precursor) of Glutathione the powerful antioxidant found in every cell in the body which protects cells against oxidative stress like ageing. Supplements containing NAC have been shown to have many health benefits, especially lung, liver and perhaps unexpectedly compulsive brain behaviour's.

Directions

Adults, take 1 capsule, 1-4 x daily, with water ideally between meals. Do not exceed recommended daily dose.

Start with 1-2 tablets per day and gradually increase to the maximum dose after two weeks if required. Take no more than one to two capsules at a time, with an interval e.g. 1 capsule morning, 1 capsule evening.

Optinac is best if you take it on an empty stomach, with water at least an hour away from eating.
